Setting up Google Adwords
With most things in life, there are a few things you don’t like doing. Unfortunately, Adwords is no exception. Let’s get these items set up quickly.
Set up Payment & Billing
Set up your billing on your preferred credit card.
Step 1: Navigate to the spanner (1), from the drop down click on Billing and payments
Step 2: Select your billing country
Step 3: Enter information about your business
Step 4: Put in your Payment Method (1), accept the terms & conditions (2) and Submit
Add users and delegate permission settings
Step 1: Navigate to the spanner icon (1), then click on Account Access
Step 2: Click the blue plus symbol to add new users
Step 3: Set a permission for the new user (more on this below) (1), enter their email address (2) then invite them to the account.
Level of access options explained:
- Administrative access: Manage all aspects of the account and give people access
- Standard access: Make changes to campaigns and give people email only access
- Read only access: View campaigns and run reports.
- Email only access: Receive account alerts and reports via email.
Set up notifications to preferred user/email
Step 1: Navigate to the spanner icon (1), then click on Preferences
Step 2: Choose your preference for notifications. I’d recommended, “receiving all” for available options because they are all useful.
